"Belligerant Attitude" - Hundreds Of Farmers Protest In Portlaose

The IFA says farmers are being left out of conversations affecting their livelihoods.

The Department of Agriculture is being accused of having "a belligerant attitude" towards farmers.

Over 300 people are marching through Portlaoise this evening, demanding greater engagement from the government on its climate action policy.

The rally is one of four being held by the Irish Farmers' Association across the country today.
