The eyewitness also pointed out that, " the space is very limited for the articulated lorry turning at the Apex on the top of Mount Street resulting in the Lorry getting stuck and unable to complete the turn" " The New poles that had been erected were causing problems as they appeared to be too close to the lorry . Also the Black plastic planter boxes were very much in the way of the lorry trying to turn. The boxes had to be forcible moved out of the way but even then the lorry had no choice but to mount the Newly enhanced. footpath, " Luckily construction workers from Careys PLC were on hand to guide the articulate lorry safely around the corner. But as the saying goes, they won't always be there. Its also interesting to note that before the foot path was extended, lorries were well able to turn at this corner. This is not the case now.
