It's due to the ongoing spell of dry weather and a mix of dead vegetation after winter.
People are also being warned about the consequences of irresponsible cigarette disposal and open barbeques.
The IFA is urging people to take the notice seriously after reports of forest fire outbreaks across the country over the weekend.
