€800,000 Funding Boost To Midlands Community Groups Affected By Covid

The aim of the fund is to revive initiatives and groups around the region.

Funding of over €800,000 is being announced to help support midlands community projects. 

Groups in Offaly will benefit the most from the government's Community Activities Fund with an allotment of €277,000. 

While €273,000 is being available to organisations in Laois and Westmeath respectively.  

The aim of the fund is to revive initiatives such as community centres, men’s and women’s sheds, and youth groups after the pandemic.
