The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested.
A man has been arrested after Gardaí seized €3,000 worth of cannabis and drug paraphernalia in Westmeath.
The drugs were discovered during a search operation in Mullingar, on Friday.
The operation was conducted by members attached to the Meath / Westmeath Divisional Drugs Unit, the Eastern Region Armed Support Unit and the Garda Dog Unit.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for examination.
The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested in connection with the seizure and has since been charged and is due to appear before a sitting of Mullingar District Court at a later date.
