The pilot scheme, hosted by the health service and SH:24.ie is being trialed in Regional Hospital Mullingar.
Locals can use the service by ordering a free kit online, gathering samples, and returning them by free post,
Results will be delivered text message or phone call, with those requiring follow up treatment directed to the sexual heath clinic.
This service is for individuals who may or may not have symptoms of an STI but want to be screened.
