The quality of fuel across Ireland is inferior compared to the rest of the EU, according to a new report.
The Irish Road Haulage Association commissioned the report, which shows higher levels of animal fat origin Fatty Methyl Ester, while in Europe samples showed a more consistent quality of HVO.
The organisation is calling on the Government to establish an independent process to verify the quality of fuel in the country.
