Mr Puska is facing a life sentence after his conviction for the murder of Ashling Murphy.
Lawyers for Josef Puska are indicating the parameters of their appeal against his murder conviction may change by the time it's heard later this month.
Mr Puska is serving a life sentence after being found guilty of Ashling Murphy's murder in 2023.
The Journal.ie is reporting his legal team told the Court of Appeal today that there had been an "indication of instruction" this week that could "dramatically reduce the amount of time needed" to deal with the case.
The case is adjourned for another week until July 10th, while the appeal itself is scheduled to take place on July 15th.
