Four students are set to compete from the Sacred Heart School in Tullamore.
An Offaly school is set to compete at the 2026 Hydrogen Grand Prix Sprint World Final today.
A team of four students at the Sacred Heart School in Tullamore, consisting of Katie Payne, Ramona Szkutnik, Ellen Cleary and Evelyn Daly have travelled to Switzerland to represent Ireland at the finals.
The H2GP Sprint is a global STEM competition in which students use engineering, science, and collaboration to design, build, and race hydrogen fuel cell-powered cars against other nations.
This comes after a group of STEMINISTS represented the school at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Missouri in April.
