Young people in the Midlands are urging elected representatives to increase investment in youth work in Budget 2027.
Tullamore's Charlie Beaudelot and Aisling Maloney from Roscrea have met with Government Offaly TDs John Clendennen and Tony McCormack to highlight the importance of youth services in supporting young people and strengthening communities.
The National Youth Council of Ireland is underlining the growing demand for youth services and is calling for an additional €27m to help secure and expand youth work across the country.
