Between January and September of last year, Laois had received just two visits.
Laois accounted for just 7% of IDA visits in the midlands in the first nine months of 2022.
Between January and September of last year, the region had received 26 visits from the IDA - Westmeath accounts for 20 of those, followed by four in Offaly and just two in Laois.
In 2021, Laois received just three visits from the IDA.
