Some people arrested say they were threatened and strip-searched after being arrested.
A Laois Palestine solidarity group wants an explanation from the State and the Gardaí as to why "peaceful protestors" were arrested outside the Dail on Sunday.
It comes after members of the Mothers Against Genocide group were arrested under the public order act for blocking the entrance to Leinster House.
Members of the group say they were violently arrested, and threatened before being strip searched.
Gardaí meanwhile are insisting searches were carried out in accordance with the Criminal Justice Act, and that no cavity searches took place.
Ger Dillon from the Laois branch of the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign group says the government needs to provide a full explanation of what happened:
