Laois Student Disappointed About Lack Of Engagement Over Leaving Cert Results

Grades will not be made available until September 7th.

The Education Minister says additional time is needed to ensure the calculated grades system is operated rigorously. 

Grades will not be made available until September 7th, three weeks later than usual. 

They will be followed by course offers four days later. 

Minister Norma Foley says all parties have agreed to meet the new deadline for course offers: 

President of the Irish Second Level Students Union is Reuben Murray from Mountrath.

He says the lack of engagement before the decision has been disappointing:
