A man has been charged in relation to a midlands fire.
The blaze broke out in the Grafton Court area of Longford Town in the early hours of Sunday, July 28th.
Residents in overhead apartments were evacuated as a result of the fire.
A man in his 50s was arrested by Gardaí in connection with the investigation yesterday - he's since been charged, and is due to appear before a special sitting of Longford District Court this evening at 5.45pm.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the matter, and are asking anyone with information to get in touch with Longford Garda Station.
