It's due to come into effect tomorrow evening.
Storm Jocelyn - the 10th storm of the season - is set to make landfall tomorrow afternoon.
The midlands, as well as the rest of Leinster and seven other counties, will fall under a fresh Status Yellow wind alert from 5pm until 2am on Wednesday morning.
While a similar warning comes into effect in Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Clare, Kerry, Galway and Mayo at midday.

ESB crews are working to restore power to 155,000 customers before Storm Jocelyn arrives.
Over 700 of those are in the midlands.
More weather warnings have been issued but conditions won't be as severe as last night.
