It's the fifth public notice in the last seven days.
Mullingar Regional Hospital is struggling with over-crowding again this morning.
Management is asking people to consider alternative options before attending the Adult Emergency Department.
The hospital is 'in escalation' and staff are working to manage the current in-patient and Covid-19 bed capacity, together with scheduled care.
If you do come to ED and are not triaged as seriously ill, you may need to wait for a long period to be seen.
However, those who require urgent care will be prioritised.
This is the fifth such public notice released by the hospital in the last week, as Mullingar Hospital grapples with a long-term over-crowding problem.
