Fine Gael's Charlie Flanagan says it's important to have the proper infrastructure if the county wants to attract Multi National Companies.
He's been making the comments at the launch of the new Laois Chamber.
Minister Flanagan says up to 14,000 people are leaving the county each day for work:
The new Laois Chamber wants to bring more investment into the county.
The organisation plans to work with the local authority and other government agencies to help support local businesses and to make the O Moore county the centre of Ireland for Business.
