The number of covid patients in midlands hospitals has dropped from 100 yesterday to 83 today.
43 are being treated in Tullamore Regional Hospital, 21 in Portlaoise and 19 in Mullingar.
23 patients are in a critical condition, while there is no available general or ICU capacity in any of the region's hospitals.
The number of people with covid in Irish hospitals has fallen to its lowest point since January 9th, with 1,418 people on wards.
It's a seven percent decrease on yesterday's total, while its down 22 percent on last Tuesday.
Figures show last night there were 206 patients were in ICU with the disease.
