High street shops need more support from the State, according to Fianna Fáil's new Small and Medium Enterprises and Retail spokesperson.

Better Buys in Tullamore closed down in February after 30 years of trading, as did Quigley's Cafe.
While in Westmeath Walsh's Jewelers in Mullingar, and Shane Maher's butchers in Moate closed their doors for the final time in March and April.
