An Offaly woman is using her story of her skin cancer diagnosis to encourage people to get skin changes checked.
Fiona White is one of 11,500 people in Ireland diagnosed with skin cancer in Ireland every year.
She was diagnosed with melanoma in May last year, after her colleagues urged her to get a mole on her forearm checked.
The Tullamore woman went for surgery to have it removed, underwent a biopsy, and has since been told all the cancer has been removed.
