There are warnings of potential flooding in low lying areas tomorrow, as Storm Bram lands.
It's expected to hit areas in the south and west the strongest, with orange wind warnings in place for 11 counties.
Meanwhile, a status yellow rain warning will come into effect for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford at 9 o'clock tonight.
People are being urged to take steps to prepare for weather related disruption.
