Laois had the most complaints lodged.
Over 150 complaints have been made to the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in the midlands so far this year.
New figures from the animal welfare charity show the most complaints have been lodged in Laois, at 70.
That's followed by 55 in Westmeath, and 42 in Offaly.
The ISPCA is appealing for donations, as the charity continues to deal with the ongoing crisis facing animals.
€100,000 has already been raised, but CEO of the ISPCA, Dr. Cyril Sullivan, says they need to raise as much again.
