Revenue officers have seized contraband worth €2,760,000 in various operations across the Midlands, Louth, Dublin and Rosslare.
Tobacco products of an estimated €1.9 million was seized, alongside 33 kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €666,000.
The herbal cannabis was discovered through risk profiling operations by exams carried out by officers in the Midlands and Dublin.
The parcels came from Thailand, the US, UK, Canada, India, Spain, Poland, Sweden and France and were destined for addresses across the country.
Almost 600 litres of alcohol with a retail value of €6,400, additional tobacco priced at around €8,000, a car and trailer estimated around €41,000 and 6 weapons were also seized in the Midlands and Dublin.
