It was in relation to a proposal to sell the land in question for €300.
A row broke out in the Laois County Council chamber over the sale of a piece of land in the county.
Tensions were high between Independent rep Aisling Moran and Cathaoirleach, Fianna Fáil's Paschal McEvoy.
The land in question is a 292 sq m site at Townparks in Mountmellick, which was proposed to be sold to Cubic Housing Limited for a total of €300.
However, Councillor Moran questioned whether a valuation was conducted on the strip of land, and believed it should be worth more.
In response, Council Chair Paschal McEvoy argued the Independent rep questions every valuation, and said he would move on if nobody else in the Chamber had an issue with the matter.
Sinn Féin's Aidan Mullins said he wouldn't comment on the specific case, but councillors shouldn't be stopped from asking questions.
The proposal to sell the land was ultimately accepted.
