Secondary school students are calling for a choice between written exams and calculated grades.

That's according the Irish Second Level Students' Union, as The Department of Education's invited stakeholders to discuss two possibilities for the exams next week.

One is full written exams with modifications to provide further choice, the other is an alternative option that could include calculated grades.
