Three men have been charged in relation to the theft of a number power tools in Laois.
Gardaí caught the men, all aged in their 30s, travelling on the M7 at Ballydavis, Portlaoise in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A stolen quadbike, chainsaw and strimmer were recovered from their van, along with a trailer being towed behind, containing a power washer.
They were arrested at the scene and brought to Portlaoise and Kildare Garda Stations for questioning.
They're due to appear before Naas District Court at 10.30 this morning.
It comes as Gardaí say they want to crackdown on crime gangs as part of the winter phase of Operation Thor.
The aim of the operation is to stop burglars from targeting people as the days get darker.
