Two Midlands Primary Schools Granted Planning Permission

Both schools have applied for extensions.

Two schools in the midlands have been granted permission for extensions.

Newtown National School in county Laois has been given approval for a Special Education Needs extension.

Scoil Mhuire Fatima National School in Timahoe, Laois, will see the construction of a new mainstream classroom. 

Laois Offaly Fianna Fail TD Sean Fleming acknowledged "the great work by the Principals, Teachers, SNAs, Parents and Boards of Management to ensure every student has access to the school which helps them achieve their full potential."
