Supplies are in drought across several counties with ongoing water conservation orders at Mullingar's Lough Owel, Kells-Oldcastle in Meath and Milford in Donegal.
The body says that while there's high levels of rain every year, a lot of it is lost is due to old infrastructure and highlights the need to conserve water.
