Business owners in a Westmeath town are on a collision course with the local authority over prolonged roadworks.
Public Realm Enhancement works have been taking place on Kinnegad's Main Street since last month which includes installing granite kerbs and street furniture.
It's part of a planned library and education training centre project for the town.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a stop and go system from today - with Westmeath County Council saying the closure is expected to be in place until March.
Those with businesses based in the town want a meeting with the local authority.
