Fianna Fail's Aengus O'Rourke says both the Health and Justice Minister need clearer measures in place.
We need clearer protocols in place for hospitals and Gardai to deal with obvious cases of drink spiking.
That's according to Athlone Councillor Aengus O'Rourke, who wants both the Health Minister and Justice Minister to establish such a pathway.
Spiking happens when drugs or alcohol is added to someone's food or drink, or if they're injected with a substance, without their knowledge or consent.
