The office had only been open during peak tourism season in previous years.
A Westmeath Tourism Office is set to open on a full-time basis from this week.
The Mullingar Tourist Office in Market Square will have year-round staffing to provide advice, information, and support on local attractions and amenities.
The reopening was confirmed by Minister for Enterprise, Longford Westmeath TD Peter Burke, following years of the facility operating on a part-time, seasonal basis during the summer months.
The full time reopening is part of a pilot programme aimed to develop regional tourism hubs, offering space and support for tourism SMEs.
The official reopening takes place this Friday.
