A Westmeath woman living in Canada says she's glad she chose to stay put.
Sally Gorman, originally from Rochfortbridge, moved to Toronto with her boyfriend this time last year.
The Canadian prime minister closed the country's borders to citizens and permanent residents on March 16th, leaving the couple with decision of whether or not to return to Ireland.
She says despite being confined to a one-bed, 43rd floor apartment, they're coping well:
