Marcella Corcoran Kennedy's nine year run in Dail Eireann is at an end.
The Offaly woman is the latest candidate eliminated in an election that could see her colleague Charlie Flanagan humiliated too.
Having topped the poll in 2011, the Minister for Justice is being overtaken by Independent TD Carol Nolan by a margin of 500 votes.
With his running mate eliminated, Mr Flanagan took the third seat this evening.
