Laois Gardaí have arrested two people in connection with a stolen car.
A teenager and a boy were detained in Portlaoise Garda Station, after the vehicle, which was stolen in Monasterevin on Tuesday, was recovered in Mountmellick.
The car, which contained sentimental items like a homemade quilt and 'Susie' the sewing machine have since been returned to their rightful owner, Martina.
One of the youths has been charged to appear before Tullamore District Court to while the second has been released to be dealt with under the Youth Diversion Scheme.
Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
