Laois rep Maria McCormack will be on the Housing and Social Protection Committee.
Laois Senator Maria McCormack has been added to the Housing and Social Protection Oireachtas Committees.
The Sinn Fein rep says she'll be focused on solving the housing crisis, improving supports for carers and people with disabilities, and ensuring fair access to social welfare.
It follows the news earlier this week former Sinn Fein TD Brian Stanley would be joining the committees on National Security and Defence.
The now Independent deputy is committing to tackling what he's calling the Taoiseach's attempts "to abolish the 'Triple Lock' and draw us into a military alliance".
