That's the view of Longford Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Joe Flaherty in relation to funding for the health sector.
In Budget 2024, €22.5bn was allocated to the Department of Health.
However, many complaints have been made in relation to staffing issues, particularly in CAMHS, and the long wait for pandemic bonuses to be paid to healthcare workers.
Deputy Flanagan says the Government shouldn't allow the health system to suffer, but that it is time to challenge the HSE:
