15 hospitals around the country will be impacted by the move.
Clerical and administration staff at a midlands hospital will gather outside today in a move against the recruitment freeze by the HSE.
Mullingar Regional Hospital is one of 15 hospitals around the country affected by the walkout, which will take place from 12,45 to 1.45pm.
The protest is in response to the HSE's halting of recruitment in clerical and administration staff.
Forsa members say at this time of year, the Health Service needs to be fully staffed.
Its Assistant General Secretary of the Midlands Region, Tony Martin, says members are being asked to leave during their lunch break, so services won't be disrupted:
